Post subject: XP Remote desktop vs terminal services

The company I work for have over time setup aproximatlty 30 XP remote desktop connections to desktops, These are used by people who sometimes work from home.

This is done via port forwarding so every new user needs a LAN static ip & new port number on the firewall.
Whilst this is inflexible from a network admin point of view and requires the user to leave their pc on 24/7 I need further justification to setup a terminal server.

Could anyone provide any justification to move away from XP RDC machines ?.

Thanks in advance Very Happy
